St. Peter’s Conference was formed in 1997 and was originally named the Frederic
Ozanam Conference. The Conference changed its name to Nanaimo Frederic Ozanam
Conference the same year, and then to St. Peter’s Conference in 1999. We are affiliated
with Holy Trinity and St. Peter’s Catholic Parishes in Nanaimo

As Vincentians we have been faithful in helping those in need from North Nanaimo to
Cedar, and Snuneymuxw First Nation.

We support those in our community through:

• Person-to-person assistance to families and individuals in crisis.
• When funding is available, support to the Nanaimo Ladysmith Schools Foundation
Program, the Nanaimo Boys and Girls Club After School Program, and the Island
  Crisis Care Society Food Program.
• Community events at our Parishes.

We always welcome new members and meet regularly on the second Monday of each
month.

Our works of service are grounded in love of neighbour and justice – since it only takes
a small effort to make a big impact.
