St. Joseph the Worker Conference is affiliated with St. Joseph the Worker Parish. We have
been servicing the needy since 1964. As Vincentians we assist residents in the
surrounding Victoria communities of Burnside and Esquimalt.

We support those in need in our community through:

• Person-to person emergency assistance to families and individuals.
• Regular home visits to ‘adopted’ families.
• Donations of food and financial assistance to the Social Concern Office, to help
support their food security program and drop-in services.
• Annual partnerships with other local organizations to support various initiatives
including 40 Cans for 40 Days and World Day of the Poor food drives, Coats for
  Kids, coffee houses with seniors.

Plus, we offer international support to twin Conferences in Amalfi and Cucuta, Colombia.
We always welcome new members and meet regularly on the third Wednesday of each
month.

Our works of service are grounded in love of neighbour and justice. It only takes a small
effort to make a big impact.
